Every now and again, I see spots for this investment bank or that discount brokerage.
Rarely do I see an African-American sitting on the side of the table with the money. If “access to capital” is an issue, then you have to wonder why this is. Not doing so might as well be a scene from The Twilight Zone.
I don’t include those that feature a Black woman. Why? Because, usually, she’s working as a branch manager. Or, cast in some other supporting role. Or, as an extra filling out the scene.
