Two weeks ago, I read a piece in The Hilltop — the student voice of Howard University since 1924.  It was written by its Editor-in-Chief, Paul Holston.

In it, young Mr. Holston had to make an executive decision:  Stay in D.C. for HU’s Homecoming Week and watch the Mighty Bison face one of the nation’s top football players in running back Tarik Cohen and the North Carolina A&T Aggies OR travel cross-country for the Black Panther Party 50th Anniversary festivities at the Oakland Museum of California.

I think the youngster made the right call.  Although the following isn’t from the event, it pays tribute to Bobby Seale’s role in founding the political organization.
